Victor Gischler's crime novels include the Edgar-nominated GUN  MONKEYS and the Anthony-nominated SHOTGUN OPERA.  GUN MONKEYS and his most recent novel GO-GO GIRLS OF THE APOCALYSPE have both been optioned by Hollywood and are currently under development.  His novel VAMPIRE A GO-GO is forthcoming from the Touchstone imprint of Simon & Schuster.  Victor has also scripted issues of WOLVERINE and PUNISHER for Marvel Comics, and he was recently named as the writer for the new monthly DEADPOOL title MERC WITH THE MOUTH to debut this summer.  His work has been translated into Japanese, French, Italian, Spanish and German.  He lives in Baton Rouge, Louisiana with his wife and son.
